A big thank you to the National Lottery Community Fund - we couldn't have done this without you!

MarrowKidz funding secured!

We are delighted to be able to announce that in Spring 2019 we were awarded funding for 2 years by the National Lottery Community Fund to design and implement the MarrowKidz programme in England. We are working with families with children and young people affected by aplastic anaemia as well as clinicians nationally, to:

  • Build an interactive information resource library
  • Set up regional peer-to-peer young people and their families support networks
  • Develop and distribute consistent diagnosis and treatment guidelines that are developed with the young person and their needs in mind
  • Raise awareness of the rare illness, thus tackling stigma associate with it.

We wanted to say a huge thank you to the National Lottery Community Fund and everyone who plays the national lottery. We would not be able to work on the MarrowKidz programme and help the overlooked group of young patients and their families without you and your support!
