What we will fund with this round Applications are invited for translational research into aplastic anaemia and/or allied rare bone marrow failures that helps accelerate the understanding of the rare diseases and bring new treatments to patients. Recognising how important fresh talent in this field is, we will also consider applications for fellowships. We are happy to consider applications for seed funding or start up funding or applications to fund studentship (for example a PHD.) We are open to applications for larger projects seeking further funding from other, larger partners and we would be happy to work with the right applicants to identify and apply for further funding from other sources. For this round of funding we are looking for applications to fund scientific / clinical research, which will further our biological understanding of the disease. This means, for example, we are not currently funding research in the field of mental health. If necessary we are happy to fund projects over two years. Applicants for this round need to be based in the UK. Manage Cookie Preferences
