Aplastic Anaemia is a life threatening illness where the body's bone marrow stops producing new blood cells. The Aplastic Anaemia trust has been there for me since my diagnosis in 2010 and do vital work to support people who have been diagnosed with Aplastic Anaemia and there families. The great north run is a half marathon that takes place in Newcastle every September. This year is the 40th anniversary and provides a good opportunity to raise some money for the AAT and spread awareness of the rare illness. Any donations would be much appreciated.
