This is a weekly face to face get together set up for anyone affected by aplastic anaemia.

Planned to coincide with the aplastic anaemia clinic in Leeds hospital, Zoe will be waiting for you in the Leeds Maggie's Centre on Alma Street, LS9 7BE from between 10am - 1pm every Tuesday morning.  Come and meet other people affected by aplastic anaemia.  It's a great place to ask questions, share experiences and learn more about what Maggie's can offer.

Everyone is welcome and you don't need to have attended any previous events or have spoken to us before. Just come along and say hello!

There's no need to register or let us know in advance, just drop by on the day for a cuppa and a chat.

Led by Zoe

This coffee morning will be hosted by our Outreach and Engagement Officer for the North, Zoe Smith.

Zoe was diagnosed with aplastic anaemia herself in November 2020 and received HATG treatment in Leeds in April 2021.

Zoe worked previously as a Pastoral Manger in a large primary school in Leeds delivering bespoke packages of support to children and families who had social, emotional and mental health needs. Zoe is now keen to work with the charity to support children and families who are affected by aplastic anaemia.  Zoe lives in Leeds with her husband and two teenage sons Harvey and Kyle.

If you're nervous about coming along, why not drop Zoe an email in advance at  [email protected] or give her a call on 07526 101004.
