AAT chat for people who are pre or post transplant

This is a new chat group set up for people who are either awaiting a bone marrow transplant to treat aplastic anaemia or who have already had one.

We know from many years of experience the worries and questions you may have - and we are here to help. 

We have set up this chat group to give you the opportunity to ask questions and share your experiences in a safe and confidential space.  

You are very welcome, you don't need to have attended any previous events or have spoken to us before. Just come along and say hello!

Having been through aplastic anaemia treatment himself as a child and receiving a stem cell transplant at the age of 21, Sam is passionate about supporting patients. He's here to provide you with a friendly ear, and expert, up to date information about the disease and treatment. 

Sam has extensive experience of managing online communities and manages our thriving Facebook community, supported by our wonderful volunteers. He has also been an ambassador for Anthony Nolan for many years, encouraging people to join the stem cell register.
