Calling all brave adventurers!

Experience the UK's Highest Free-Fall Abseil, enjoy the most spectacular views of London, whilst dangling in free space from the ArcelorMittal Orbit, 80 metres above the ground!

80 meters, 262ft and approximately an 8 minute descent, all whilst raising money for the AAT. Are you brave enough?

More details available on the The London Abseil website.

Cost and your commitment

The Aplastic Anaemia Trust will cover over half the cost of your abseil. When you sign up, you will agree to raise a minimum of £250.

We are sure this won't be a problem, but if you haven't fundraised enough before the event, you will be given the option to pay an additional amount to cover the cost of the abseil.

On the Day

You will meet a instructor who will make sure you are safe before you dangle in the air suspended by your abseil line, which is backed-up by two safety lines. As you control the speed of your descent, you can take your time to enjoy the incredible views of some London’s most iconic structures, whilst moving towards the ground.

There is more information on this Information leaflet

The London Abseil is extremely wind sensitive and we may have to reschedule in the event of high winds.

Abseils will not take place in the event of high winds, persistent rain, lightning, heavy snow, ice or weather conditions that the team reasonably believe will render The London Abseil unsafe.
