When her friend's 13 year-old son was diagnosed with aplastic anaemia Tracey knew she wanted to do something to help. She started to raise awareness of aplastic anaemia in her local area by selling awareness ribbons on behalf of the AAT but wanted to do more.

On Saturday 11th August along with husband Ian and friends Ray and Sam, Tracey took part in the 5k Fun Run at Markeaton Park in Derby. So far the group have raised an incredible £1,040 and counting ...

We would like to raise awareness of the condition and encourage people to not only donate money to the AAT but also to become blood donors to support the transfusions required during the treatment.

Having seen the impact this condition can have on a family we want to do all we can to support the AAT in finding a cure.

Their online sponsorship page is still open and accepting donations if anyone would like to support Tracey & Co
