In May 2025 our beautiful daughter Isla, was diagnosed with very severe aplastic anaemia at just 14 months old. It was something we had never heard of before and yet it turned our world upside down overnight.

Aplastic anaemia is a rare and life threatening condition caused by the bone marrow not functioning properly.

In people with aplastic anaemia, the bone marrow fails to produce enough of all three types of blood cells – red, white and platelets.
Aplastic anaemia treatment is very similar to the treatment someone might have for leukaemia - but because it's so rare, families often don't have access to the same information and support.

The Aplastic Anaemia Trust has been an incredible source of information, hope, and support for us since Isla’s diagnosis. They are the only charity in the UK dedicated  to raising awareness, funding research, and supporting families like ours through the most difficult times.

In September we were blown away, when over 200 super cars turned up for a rally to celebrate Ozzy's birthday. We raised over £1800!

We’re fundraising because no family should face this journey alone and because Isla, and every child like her, deserves the very best chance at a healthy future. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to better treatments, more research, and hope for families affected by this cruel condition.

Thank you for standing with us and supporting the Aplastic Anaemia Trust 💛
