The Aplastic Anaemia Trust is a small but growing charity with a big mission - to enable vital research into the causes of aplastic anaemia and other rare bone marrow failures. Ultimately, we want that research to lead to finding a cure. Whilst we support this research we also have a mission to support everyone affected by these rare diseases, so they can lead healthy and fulfilling lives and their families and friends have the information they need.

We are seeking to appoint several new trustees to our Board.

This is a significant moment for the charity as we consolidate the rapid expansion in our activities that has been the core of our work in the last two years.

Who we're looking for

With two long-serving trustees coming to the end of their tenure, and our former medical trustees heading up our new Research and Clinical Advisory Panel, we would especially value more input on finance/accountancy and business, HR, growing fundraising networks, and legal /compliance matters.

We want our Board to reflect the diverse community whom we serve. Thus we are especially keen to hear from people who identify as D/deaf or disabled, LGBQT, of African, Caribbean, Central Asian, East Asian, South Asian, South East Asian or West Asian heritage and/or are under 35.
