Santa Splash

Every year, hundreds of people around the UK brave the cold water to raise money for The Aplastic Anaemia Trust. Will you join them?

Our amazing volunteers and intrepid staff host Santa Splash events around the country: at Lidos, on the beach, even your local sauna can be a Santa Splash venue! Whether you fundraise, volunteer to run an event, or just buy a ticket and join in - it's a wonderful way to connect with other people in your area.

Every Splasher receives a Santa hat to wear in the sea, and those who raise £200 in fundraising are sent a wooden AAT badge.

The atmosphere on the beach was electric. Full of people that had come to meet each other and support The AAT. There were screams of joy as we ran into the water. As I left the beach that day, I was chilly but buzzing, I knew I'd be back next year.

Where can I join in?

Regular Santa Splash locations include Leith (Edinburgh), Wales, Liverpool and Sunderland.

Tickets for our Santa Splashes go on sale as dates are confirmed with the venue, events confirmed for this year are listed below. If you don't see any events that means we don't have the dates confirmed yet - events usually go live in September/ October and take place in the first week of December.

If you'd like to join a Santa Splash near you, or volunteer at one, you can email Hannah, any time of year, at [email protected] for some more details.

If there's no event happening near you, you can still join in - organise your own event at a beach or lido - or set yourself an ice bath challenge! Get in touch with Hannah or order our Santa Splash Fundraising pack, below.
