A great way to get family and friends together, raise awareness about aplastic anaemia amongst your community and have fun all whilst supporting people with aplastic anaemia. 

Some ideas of what you can do;

Get your school or company involved 

Have a pajama day or a dress up day

Have a stall at the school fete

Hold a bake sale - turn your bakes into dough

Let us entertain you

Hold a games night or a Pub Quiz -  Invite friends and family to test their trivia and charge an entrance fee.

Host a tea party or coffee morning – sell tickets for an evening do and set up a snack bar on the side to bring in extra cash.

Host a bingo night.

Charge an entry fee. 

Like poetry? Hold a poetry slam!

Host a dinner party – Get your friends and family round for a night of fabulous food and charge them restaurant prices for the meal you cook.

Organise a music event – Bring people, host an open mic night, or get a local band to play.

Get Crafty - Get crafty - turn your creativity into cash

 Whether you’re an artist, a knitter, a jeweller or a candle-maker, set up a stall (could be online or in person) and sell your creations.

Sell seasonal decorations - create festive handmade items such as snowflakes, baubles, wreaths, or create DIY kits for your friends and family to buy and get creative themselves

Create a calendar - Showcase your photography or recipes over 12 months.

Celebrate

Organise a charity ball or gala – Get dresses up and plan a charity ball. Organise some entertainment and hold a raffle or auction on the night to raise even more funds.

A birthday, an anniversary - are perfect occasions to do something meaningful. You can ask your friends to donate to our charity in lieu of giftsFor your birthday why not ask people for donations instead of presents?
