I'm riding 140 miles in three days.

Together, we can fund research and improve treatment for people with aplastic anaemia, so in the future no-one will have to lose someone they love to this condition.

I'll be riding the Coast to Coast in memory of Buffy, and fundraising for Buffy's fund. Funding research is a way to ensure a long-lasting legacy for Buffy.

I'll be with a team of 15 cyclists and we will be cycling from Whitehaven in the Lake District, across the Lake District and Northumberland, ending at Buffy's favourite place, Roker Beach in Sunderland- the perfect place to dip our toes in the ocean.

What I'm fundraising for?

Buffy died because she had aplastic anaemia - an ultra rare bone marrow failure.

The Buffy Younger Impact Fund is dedicated to improving treatment for aplastic anaemia by enabling research and clinical advancement, so that in the future no-one has to lose someone they love to this condition.

Buffy's Fund is about providing seed funding for some big research priorities, and enabling this small charity - the only one for people affected by aplastic anaemia in the UK - to punch above their weight and make big things happen.

By raising funds to specifically fund the opportunities identified by these experts - we will secure a long-lasting legacy for Buffy.

Thank you for your support.
