I'm riding 140 miles in three days. 

Together, we can fund research and improve treatment for people with aplastic anaemia, so in the future no-one will have to lose someone they love to this condition.

I'll be riding the Coast to Coast in memory of my daughter Buffy, and fundraising for Buffy's fund. Funding research is my way to ensure a long-lasting legacy for Buffy. Roker Beach was Buffy's favourite place so it'll be the perfect place to finish the ride and remember her.

I'll be with a team of 15 cyclists and we will be cycling from Whitehaven in the Lake District, across the Lake District and Northumberland, ending at Buffy's favourite place, Roker Beach in Sunderland- the perfect place to dip your toes in the ocean and enjoy a well deserved pint!

What I'm fundraising for?

Buffy died because she had aplastic anaemia - an ultra rare bone marrow failure.

The Buffy Younger Impact Fund is dedicated to improving treatment for aplastic anaemia by enabling research and clinical advancement, so that in the future no-one has to lose someone they love to this condition.

Buffy's Fund is about providing seed funding for some big research priorities, and enabling this small charity - the only one for people affected by aplastic anaemia in the UK - to punch above their weight and make big things happen.

By raising funds to specifically fund the opportunities identified by these experts - we will secure a long-lasting legacy for Buffy.
