We've got places for the London Marathon 2028 (and 2029)

Want to run for us?

Register your interest before the 4th May 2027, for your chance to take part in the London Marathon 2028. 

This is such a fantastic opportunity for a small charity like us and we'd love you to be part of it. 

Spaces are limited, so we are asking that you apply for your place by;

• Answering a few questions when you register your interest at the bottom of this page.
• Register with us.  Registering with the AAT helps us understand how many people are living with rare bone marrow failure in the UK, and helps us to support you with information, events and support services.  

We will then make a decision the first week of June 2027 and let you know if you have been successful in getting a place for 2028. By registering your interest it does not guarantee you a place.

We only have 12 places available for 2028 and for the London Marathon 2026 and 2027 we had more than 65 applications, so I would urge you all to apply for a place through the London Marathon Ballot when it opens. 

If you get a ballot place, you can still fundraise for us and be part of The AAT Team, we’ll still send you a  top to run in and invite you for a pre team drink. It just means our London Marathon team will be bigger.

Commitment if you are successful

If you are successful in getting a place, we ask you to contribute £75 to the London Marathon Place and fundraise £2000 or more. 

Your £75 registration fee will be non-refundable if we can not fill your place or if you cancel after the London Marathon registration deadline (March 2028)
