What is aplastic anaemia?

Aplastic anaemia is a strange-sounding name for the reason you are feeling poorly right now.

In the middle of your big bones is something called bone marrow. This is where your blood cells are made. In aplastic anaemia, bone marrow doesn’t make enough blood cells for your body to stay healthy.
