13th June is the day of what would have been our flagship walk in the Windsor Great Park. This walk has been growing in popularity, attracting nearly 120 walkers last year who all promised to come back in 2020.

Unfortunately, the event cannot go ahead this year because of the pandemic and the social distancing rules. Just like most fundraising events being cancelled, this deprives our community of a thoroughly enjoyable social and gentle sporting event, and our charity – of vital income.

However, if you’ve participated in one of the walks in the past and had been planning to join this year, you still can!

How does this work?

Why not complete a walk, at your own pace, of your own distance, in support of our charity on either 13 June or around that date? You can do this in your own garden, in your local park, or at another place of your choosing – having regard to social-distancing rules of course!

You can take pictures, posting them on social media and tagging the Aplastic Anaemia Trust. This will help raise awareness of our cause and the rare devastating illness.

Please support our charity at a time of great need

Complete the walk and donate whatever amount you’re able to. At the time when our community fundraising income has seen an 85% dip over the last three months, every amount, no matter how small, will help our charity. You can download a Gift Aid form here, to help us claim an additional 25% on each donation.

You can donate by clicking on the button and also sharing this link with your friends and family, asking them to sponsor your effort.
