Chantal Ormerod My son was diagnosed in 2015 with Severe Aplastic Anaemia, following an episode of chicken pox at the age of 21. He has since had lots of intensive treatments, including ATG therapy & two bone marrow transplants at various NHS Trusts in the UK.

This condition has had a major impact on his early adult life, with not only the physical but psychological consequences too.

It’s vital we raise funds to plough into research of not only the disease but also the treatments and care given to patients diagnosed with this condition. This will help to improve services such as diagnosing, treating and the aftercare that is often disjointed, yet as equally important.
