Aplastic anaemia is a rare and devastating disease that completely changed the way I lived my life. When I first got out of hospital 3 years ago, I could barely jog 50 m. This year my friend and football teammate Kate Leslie and I will be running the Midnight Sun Half Marathon in Iceland to celebrate my recovery and to raise money to help those who are still struggling.

The Aplastic Anaemia Trust (https://www.theaat.org.uk/) relies on donations to keep doing their amazing work. Please donate to fund research into the cause of this disease and to help find a cure! Romy Minko
