Aplastic anaemia is a very rare illness covering a number of age profiles including teenagers. Harry my son was diagnosed at the LGI Leeds in 2010. He was treated effectively and has been in remission ever since. A regular runner in the GNR for the charity and an active member of the Youth Board supporting a dedicated charity looking into an extremely rare illness. We both just want to help fight the disease and promote better outcomes for those unfortunate enough to be afflicted.
