In early August Joey was admitted to Queen Alexandra hospital, Portsmouth, following the discovery of some abnormalities in a sample of blood that he had given. He has since been diagnosed with aplastic anaemia, which is basically where his immune system is attacking his bone marrow, meaning his bone marrow can no longer make red or white blood cells, or platelets.

It is a horrible illness, and any money you can donate to help support The Aplastic Anaemia Trust (who support families in our position and research into it) will be hugely appreciated. X
