I am taking part in The Together Walk on Saturday 5th March, this is a 16km walk to raise awareness and hopefully a little bit of money for The Aplastic Anaemia Trust.

My dad died from Aplastic Anaemia 25 years ago and I think it’s about time that I did something in his memory!

Aplastic Anaemia is an ultra rare and life-threatening blood disorder caused by the bone marrow not functioning properly. In people with Aplastic Anaemia, the bone marrow fails to produce enough of all three types of blood cells – red, white and platelets.

Their mission is to continue to raise funds for research into the cause of Aplastic Anaemia and other rare bone marrow failures with the ultimate goal to find a cure.

Thank you for visiting my page and taking the time to read a little bit about this disorder, if you would like to give a pound or two that would be amazing but this is more about trying to raise awareness ❤️
