Abseil in the Peaks

Imagine yourself abseiling off an old railway bridge with pillars and arches, spanning a narrow gorge, over a swift-moving river. Welcome to Millers Dale Bridge!

You'll abseil 80 foot, of which 70 feet is free hanging!

A session will last a maximum of 2.5 hours and you'll have a chance to do more than one abseil.

By signing up you are committing to raising £200 fundraising. The money you raise goes towards supporting people affected by rare bone marrow failure.

Fundraise over £200 by the end of March and you get one of our Super Rare T-shirts.

On Saturday 24th why not join our Peak District Walk? A stunning 8 Mile walk.  Find out more information here and buy a walk and abseil ticket below. The abseil is 25 minutes away from the Yorkshire Bridge Inn where the walk begins. 

You can book accommodation at the Yorkshire Bridge Inn.

Terms and Conditions

Children over 8 can sign up for the abseil. 

You must be able to walk back up to the top of the bridge, through woodland. 

There is a 5-7 minute flat walk along the Monsal Trail from the car park and registration point to the abseil bridge. P

Wear flexible clothes suitable for the time of year

If it’s cool bring a coat or waterproof as there is little shelter on the bridge

You must wear trousers, please do not wear crop tops.

Trainers are fine if its dry, approach shoes or boots are best for winter conditions

If you bring a dog, please bring it’s lead
