I was diagnosed with Aplastic Anaemia in January 2019. I never heard of this disease before my diagnosis and I want to raise awareness so people have more of an understanding of the symptoms and treatments involved.

Aplastic anaemia is a complete bone marrow failure - the immune system attacks stem cells in the bone marrow destroying the red, white blood cells and platelets. People who have it - cannot lead a normal life. They face prolonged and complex treatment, with severe side-effects, risk of serious and life-threatening infections and bleeding. Because the disease is so rare, funds available for patient support, information and research are really scarce.

I would like to raise money so that more research can be done to hopefully stop this awful disease.
