The Together Walk: One Step at a Time

We hope you can join us on Sunday 9th May for our Virtual Walk. 

Whilst we may not be able to walk side by side at the moment, we can still walk together.

Location: You decide, it could be your local park, your garden or even laps around your house. 


9.30am- Welcome over Zoom

9.35am- Introduction into Walking Mindfully and a short guided meditation led by Meditation Teacher Becky Mitchell of Present Moment Meditation (@present_moment-meditation

9.45am- Group warm up exercise led by Ros a fabulous member of our community who has been affected by AA herself. Feel free to  do as much as you feel able to do.

10am Zoom call ends and the walking starts.

10am-4pm Walking your distance.

When you sign up you will be invited to join a Facebook group for the event, you are encouraged to share your progress, photos, videos and music you are listening to in the group. 

If you're on Instagram use #aattogether to share and keep in touch with people throughout the day.

4pm- After Party on Zoom, join us to celebrate the miles worked and the money raised. (Tea and Cake encouraged but not provided by The AAT!)

Distance: 6km, 10km, 16km

Dress Code: You are encouraged to wear Red or an AAT / Super Rare T-shirt if you have one. 

Registration Fee: £6

All participants will be sent a small gift in the post after the event to say Thank You so please make sure you include your address when registering.
